2001 dodge grand caravan, 3.3, 115k,(e-85 capable) runs fine oneday. Next day, although abit more cranking, engines starts o.k. but misses, hesitates constantly under accelleration & backfires occassionly.first codes were p0442,p0455&p0456.found split hose on evap service port, replaced &90 miles later no return of those codes.vehical still has no power, had 62lbs. of eractic (3-4 lbs. fluctuating)fuel pressure, thought it was regulator. New fuel pump & filter yesterday(steady 59 lbs.)no change in perfomance, & after 45 miles of varying driving mil light flashed twice and went out,at that time I have p0172,p0301,p0305,p0300. Checked all vac. hoses, egr removed & showed no signs of excess carbon. Seems to idle o.k. & under heavy accelleration there is a brief moment where it seems to be all 6 firing(2800-3500rpm) At 65mph in o/d there is a constant jerking miss, put into 3rd. helps some, but still present. The missing ect. all seem to be consistant everytime.Hesitates, but doesn't stall, restarts everytime with maybe an extra few cranks. No power.

If possible have the cam and crank sensors scoped, Maybe a coil, or an egr that's stuck open,

cylinders 1 and 5 are on bank 2? If so, that bank is running rich(P0172) and likely the cause of the misfire. Check fuel pressure and regulator operation, etc, also.

checking compression wouldn't be a bad idea either!
