 Post subject: P0122 on a 2002 F-550

Alright guys All-Data is not helpin me much, im needing some specs on where on what to test on this its a P0122 (ETC sensor circuit low), I need to find the electronic throttle control unit (ETC) on it, but alldata doesnt have that info for some reason, if i can find a pic of it, and a wiring diagram i can figure it out but alldata is giving me nothin any help would be appreciated.

na sorry guys and it was a diesel, it doesnt have a throttle plate, traced it down to the PCM, i shoulda just looked around a little longer

It still may have a pedal position sensor. Im not sure of where it is or if it has one. Don't worry, we've all been there!

yea i found thhe pedal position sensor checked reference voltage, ETC voltage, and went through many steps, and narrowed it down to the PCM, even swapped the pedal postion sensor from another vehicle to make sure. had it towed to the ford house yesterday cant wait to see how much its gonna be, glad its not me payin for it ha ha

Be sure that "circuit low" isn't a short somewhere. Switching the ETC wouldn't change anything if there's a short in the harness somewhere. Just a thought.

i checked around for a short for a while, and i got an order from some one above me to just have it delivered to the ford house to Replace the PCM, so its outta my hands now im not worryin about it.
