99' isuzu amigo 2.2 4cyl.
Codes: P0141,p0300,p0404,p1404,p1627
Problems: hesitates sometimes on takeoff, gas gauge gives random readings(sometimes will read empty, or full, or somewhere in between), Fuel light flashes sometimes.

Can't figure out what the problem is, but the hesitation on takeoff is really concerning me. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

probably and an egr issue for the hesitation assuming the tune-up parts are good and the engine is sound! the fuel issue sounds to be a pump and sending unit problem, if it's like alot of gm products then the wiring harness at the pump goes bad alot as well! low fuel pressure could be causing your hesitation as well!

Would it be hard to fix this problem myself with minimal tools? Also, the cooling fan turns on when the gas light starts flashing and the gas gauge goes up!?! What could that be and can I fix it? Thanks for your help!

Brad

it all depends on tools, ability etc! The cooling fan I don't know about, that's a new one for me

Well if it's common enough that both of you have the same issues right down to the cooling fans then I'd be checking for a tsb and/or calling the dealer to see if they've heard of such a scenario!
