just did a quick scan of this car right before we left today and told the lady to come by tomorrow after i do some research to figure out what might be the problem. have any of you guys run into any wierd things that cause this code or what to look for. i know that its an egr code and im almost 100% positive its the dpfe but i could be wrong. let me know if there is anything that i should look for. thanks

If I remember right some Nissans had really bad issues with carbon buildup in the passageways that would still stall the car out when testing the egr valve so you assume the valve is good and it likely is but just didn't flow enough gas through the ports to make the 02 happy! Like I said I can't remember what Nissan I saw it on but involved removing some plugs that were tapped into the egr passageways and cleanning the crud out! Kinda like the 3.1's in the GM's .

good luck and let me know what you find!

Is this guy even a mechanic working at a shop? It cracks me up how this internet car repair thing is getting so out of hand! I got an egr code on anything with 4 wheels so I think it needs a dpfe LOL! And a new MAF for my jeep product because it's running rough!
