Hello, I am having trouble with a P0500 code on my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. I replaced the VSS in the transfer case, still no Speedo and code has not yet cleared. Haynes manual shows 3 wires to this sensor for my model year, but sensor only has two wires. What should I see at these two wires when testing? What hardware can break inside my transfer case to cause this VSS P0500 code? Any other clues I can look at to fix this?

Thanks, Russ
