OK, the light came on but nothing affecting drivability that I notice. I have a cheap generic reader I got years ago for a Ford I owned at the time. Just for grins I plugged it in the Isuzu and low and behold the above three numbers showed up. My reader has only four numerals so, even if it was capable, I couldn't distinguish between the P codes and any other type.

P0155 (O2 heater circuit) is in the users manual, but any tips on that would be appreciated too.

However I have no idea and can't seem to find any info on what the other two codes might mean, if anything. Any suggestions?

More details if it makes any difference. It is an 03 rodeo with the 3.2 V6 and AT.

try a different reader, doubtful yours is reading the serial data properly, autozone should do it for free!

Appreciate the reply and you are probably right, although the manual says, and the right pins are present to indicate the reader supports the protocol in my Isuzu. It has made in China stamped on it, so nothing would surprise me.

We have autozones nearby, so I will get a second opinion from them. Thanks.

Well finally went by Autozone and their reader says 0155 also.

So does anyone know which sensor is "bank 2, sensor 1" on a 2003 Rodeo, 3.2 6 cylinder?

Also does "heater circuit malfunction" typically indicate a bad sensor, assuming nothing obvious with the wiring or connectors?

Bank 2 sensor 1 would be the sensor on the bank that contains cylinder #2, and the front (pre cat. ) sensor.

Also, yes, if there are no problems with the wiring or harness, usually it's the O2 sensors heater circuit inside the sensor is shorted or open.

Just a thought, forget which bank is which on that vehicle and replace BOTH pre cat. o2 sensors. It'll save you heartache in the future.
