I am having problems with my 1999 Hyundai Elantra. My check engine light has been on since I purchased the vehicle. The codes were previously, PO442, PO747, PO743. Then, just yesterday I pulled out of my driveway headed to eork and my Transmission was acting crazy! It shifted out of 1st to 2nd with a bam!! I made it to Autozone hoping that some Transmission fluid would fix the problem and it didn't. I then tryed to reverse it and it wouldn't move. I had them run the scanner at the auto parts store and the codes changed from PO747, PO743 to PO732, Po734. is there anyone out therethat could possibly help me? I never had a problem with this before and I checked on NHTSA's website and there was a recall for the Automatic Transmission Pressure Control Solenoid. Could this be the Culprit?

I am having it taken to the nearest Dealer. There is a recall on the Automatic Transmission Pressure Control Solenoiod. So, hopefull this will correct my problem. Other than this, I don't know if this is the ezact cause but, I am hoping this wil fix the problem. Thank you for your help though.

Why would you have the speed sensor checked as well?
