Got one that is getting me down. 1998 F150 4X4 Off Road 4.6 V8 Auto. 148,000 miles. Sometime when I turn the key on the CEL does not come on and I get a no start but cranks good. All other dash ligts are on. Turn the key off and back on a few times and bingo the CEL comes on and truck starts. Now looking for grounds and relays. I did just replace the DPF sensor and EGR.
Thanks
Buster

Thanks for the help. It was not displaying any fault codes. I found the problem in the EEC relay in the power distribution box.
