Lets try this again

I have a P0121 and P0174, any help !!!

I have a KN air filter and I am going to clean the mass air flow sensor as suggested on this forum

P0121 is for the Throttle Position sensor and the P0174 is for System to lean bank 2. both codes are probably from the oil from the K&N filter. I would remove the K&N filter before it kills your MAF and TPS, reset check engine light and see if it returns.

I have had the KN on for over 100k miles, today I cleaned the Mass Air Flow sensor, I failure would came back in a few weeks, so lets see if cleaning the MAF sensor helps, I will repost when I have a fix,

please continue to supply input, am I on the right track ??

Try cleaning the MAF and throw away the K&N. K&N= MAF worst enemy.

so far so GOOD, no codes have come back, cleaned the mass air flow sensor, Truck is running real strong, no pinging, no codes

500 plus miles, It runs great now as well, before I had a little pinging under a load around 3000 rpms, ON more pinging
