I have received the code of P0401 which indicates the EGR flow in Insufficient. Has anyone with such vehicle gotten the code and succesfully had it corrected? If so how? I know that I have talked to two dealers and they say not to worry about it BUT everythying I read says it will not pass emissions so I need to find out. I should not, the first code I got was the O2 sensors were bad and I replaced them and not this code pops up.

DPFE, egr valve and or vaccum solenoid could all cause that code, so could a vaccum leak at the intake manifold, very common codes and failures on those cars, run from both of those dealers if they don't kknow how or don't want to fix it.

good luck and keep us postted

Is there to determine which one(s) it could be that is causing the code? I have to pass emissions by the end of April and would like to not have to replace every part on the car if possible hahahahha.

I appreciate your help as well.
