OBD Code P0401 and P0402 on 2000 Toyota Camry. My car has rough idling, loss of power, sputtering and burning more gas than usual. I have replaced the EGR VSV and Modulator. I was told by a mechanic that my EGR valve was still good and did not need to be replaced, he also mention that I may have a bad ECM. Could I???? I also replaced my upstream oxygen sensor the one before the cadillac converter. My check engine light is still on and the codes are still showing "EGR insufficient flow" and "EGR excessive flow." Any suggestion?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I'd still change the valve before changing the pcm or even remove the intake and clear the carbon from the passageways before condemming the pcm

To the Original poster, I just took my car into the dealership and there was a recall for my ECM on my 2000 Toyota Camry 4CL. You might want to find out if it needs replacing. From the documentation I was provided, you had to get it replaced before 80,000 miles which thankfully I was under.
