Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) Sensor
A fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor measures the pressure in the vehicle's fuel tank and it's purpose is to diagnose leaks in the tank system. This ensures compliance with the federal laws regarding emissions of the tank system and also minimizes evaporation losses.
